I thought this one was a bit more like their debut than anything else, only a bit more focused. It's definitely their heaviest to date.

Solid album once again.

I've only listened to this once, not sure what I think of it yet. The first song was definitely heavier than their previous stuff although I'm not sure if it was heavier overall.

First time I've heard these guys, pretty good. It sounds as if they're not completely 'Toolish', which is promising. On the list!

They've never really sounded like Tool, but there have been moments, specifically a song like "Stone By Stone." Overall, though, they don't much sound like Tool.

I've just found out that i have the promo for A Murder of Crows, i think its really great, what do you guys think its their best album?

I would say you have it, though the others are very good. My favorite track of theirs is on that album. "Regret." Killer tune.

But don't overlook their other albums.

imo Murder of Crows and The January Tree are their best, although I've listened to those two a ton and haven't really given this one or The Dead word much of a chance.

I think you got the best album (Murder of crows), and the second best is the one reviewed here, A lullaby for the devil.
But the rest of their stuff is great too.
