I just saw these guys last night along with 3 Inches of Blood.. and they rock! I sense the influences you mention, along with perhaps a little bit of jazziness ala Tom Waits. The lead guitarist is quite nimble on the fretboard and their music often detours into short, but intense bursts of creativity that can't help but put a smile on your face.

Also, it looked like the guitarist and bassist split the vocals about 70/30.. the bassist doing the Tom Waits style growling.. often they were trading phrases back and forth.
