Good review. I haven't been able to stop listening to this album for about a week straight, I personally think it's one of their best albums overall. Like you, I like all of the songs here whereas on previous albums, namely 'Paradise In Flames' and 'Doom of Destiny' there were some throwaway tracks and to be honest some outright embarrassing moments. Everything on Utopia is so well done and they havent had to change much of anything to achieve this, its all the same old ideas but played and written better.

Another solid Axxis album but they are running in circles for four album now. They just might release their "The 8th Sin" next. My main issues with this album are the lyrics, terrible as always, and the female vocals which I think they introduced in Paradise In Flames and I've hated them since. On the good side Heavy Rain does sound epic and I think the band should do more songs in German because Fass Mich An is another killer track. It sounds more natural plus I don't understand a word.

First Axxis review by someone other than Chris. I'll probably check this out, even though they have 3/4 filler.

As I've already said in the review, this one has no filler. I think there was only... one song I didn't like as well as the others, but that one was still great.

Well, it's good to see someone other than Chris review it. I like his reviews, but sometimes his fanboyism is way to obvious. I'll give this a shot.

Oh yeah! This is gonna be so awesome... Axxis beat the crap out of 90% of what is released in this genre today.
