First time I heard Tyr but this album was a big surprise for me and is one of my favourites of the year. Some of the melodies really fuck with your head, and there is a big metallic proggy feel to all the rhythm parts. Also, Faroese sounds like a very cool language to sing in :ph34r:

An absolutely killer album! The last one was brilliant, as well. Their ability to craft such amazingly catchy songs and sing them in a different, obscure language astounds me. An awesome, awesome band.

This album sure is a grower. At first i was skeptical about all those interludes but now i find the album "impossible" to listen without them. Tyr have a knack for writing epic songs in a much different way than Turisas for example. Their best one yet. 85/100 :dio:
