Nice. I like what I hear! "Unforgiven" is great. Mike Stone has surprised me. First with his work with Queensryche and now this. Especially considering years ago he had a punk band called Klover where he sang and played guitar. An outstanding punk band that sadly only recorded one album and EP. But to go from punk to what he's done with Queensryche, and to singing here—and he seems to have a great metal voice, too!—I'm just impressed. I need to find a copy of this demo.

Oh, and Circle II Circle, Queensryche and Iron Maiden aren't progressive.

This is indeed very good. And here I was wondering why nobody responded to my post earlier in february but apparently the review was under way. Glad to see I'm not the only one liking those guys and expecting something good out of it.

By the way, this is what they posted on their myspace bulletin :)

Sorry bro. I never saw your post. I wish I had, I would have ordered the EP immediately. I ordered it today. Like a tool, I sent the band an e-mail asking how can order it, only to find the link two seconds after I hit send. :lame:

I stumbled on these guys on MySpace and I liked what I heard. Ray is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet (he's funny too) and he actually will talk to you. Not like other bands out there that never return a message. When they finished the demo I immediately ordered it and I was really impressed what I heard. Each song has a different charachter to it. Which is good because i hate CD's where every song sounds the same. So what, they have different singers!

I'm looking forward to the finished product because they rock :dio:

WiszdomStone is honored that Metal Reviews would take the time to review our Cd. We would love the opportunity to answer a few questions:

Q:Why have guest musicians?

A: Why not? Music is about doing whatever it takes to give the listener the ultimate listening XXXperience. When this project started, everyone was told to leave their ego's at the door. We have been blessed with the opportunity to record with GREAT musicians such as Mike Stone of Queensryche and Casey Grillo of Kamelot. If Mike had time to record all the guitars, I would hand him my guitar and grab a cup of coffee in a second. We love to write music and we feel the more tools in the workbelt, the better.

Q: 3 Singers? What will we do live? Will that make it hard to create an idenity?

A: Well that is 3 singers so far. We just may have more singers when all is said and done. We are not worried about live shows at this time, but more interested in delivering uncompromised music. When it comes to music, we never worry about tomorrow. We understand that the norm is to have one voice that everyone can identify with, but until we find that ONE voice, we will have to hope our writing style and message gives us idenity. Sabbath could have 50 different singers, but you would still know it was Sabbath.

Q: What XXXactly is WiszdomStones vision?

A: Back in the day a band played any where they could get a gig. Why? So they could get XXXposure!!! The world has changed and we must change with it or we will get passed by. "The world is at our finger tips" With a click of a mouse you can get your music heard all over the world. Believe it or not, the internet can be used for more then surfing porn!!! lol What is our vision? To simply write music that will take your soul on a journey. NO, we want to write music that will take souls from around the world on a journey! Why not, "The world is at our finger tips."
