Yup. This band is on the rise. Every album they've made is slightly better than the last. Nothing spectacular, but definitely a solid band. I'll have to check this album out.

The review is just how I like it - short and at the same time exactly tells me what I want to know . Perfect :dio:

I like their previous albums, but this one tops them. They are definitely finding their own place in the HM world. :D

More than Bruce Dickinson, the vocals remind me of Rick Mythiasin from his Steel Prophet days. I haven't heard this one yet, but when I first heard Elegies, if I hadn't known it was Machine Men, I would have thought that Rick was back in Steel Prophet and that they had released a new album. I miss Rick-era Steel Prophet, so I was glad to come across Machine Men.

After 2 listens I think the album is great, for some reason I've been putting high hopes on this band, I wonder if they can manage to do something really great, something that will stay in history of metal, I've been expecting the same thing from Kamelot, and they did it with "The Black Halo" - the metal album of 2005.

Circus Of Fools really hooked me up. I think the song was great when i first heard it in myspace. I haven't heard the full thing yet but my expectations are high. And according to Ben the good stuff comes right after the title track.

Impressive stuff. Sorta reminds me of Into Eternity without the growls, fast tempos. The singer sounds EXTREMELY similar to Stu Block. Right now my favorite track is "The Shadow Gallery" :dio:

This album is amazing. I didn't realize this at first but now i can rightly say it's my fav. from the band. They really improved their songwritting and it shows - no filler here. I love every song on the record including the longest track, i've had some issues with those on previous albums. My only complaint would be the drumming, it just sounds so boring and predictable. 90/100 :dio:

I listened to this one today and I admit I really enjoyed it much more than before. It's a very heavy album with strong performances and good songs.
