Lord I love Yes. Some of the best music ever written. Truly special and belongs in a category all by itself.

Agreed.....many people regard listening to Yes music as a very spiritual experience. I'm not a religious person by any sense yet they do invoke an essence of spirituality with all things. Musical prophets that are in a class all to themselves.

The song Gates of Delirium can reduce the most hardened man to tears, especially when it reaches the "Soon" movement. Very few songs are that moving.

I love that whole Relayer album...a much more "muscular" Yes. Gates of Delirium is one of their finest moments. Soon as well as tracks like And You And I, Turn Of The Century, Wonderous Stories and a few tracks from Tormato like Future Times and Onward still give me chills even after owning some of that material for over 30 years now. Few vocalists have the power, emotion and range that Jon has. I'm a metal fan at heart but Yes has and always will have a special place in my life. I listen to them very often and once a year or so, I go on Yes binge.......in the middle of one now, sparked by the this review of the Montreux DVD!!
