I never thought I would see the words "Thrash", "Exodus" and "balls" in a review for a Celesty album :P Seriously, this better be a lot better than their previous albums. Legacy of Hate is one of the most boring PM albums I've ever heard.

Well, it is leaps and bounds better, in my opinion at least, yours might differ. Legacy Of Hate bored the hell out of me as well and I enjoyed each listen of this release a lot. Keep in mind when I referred to "Thrash" and Exodos" I was not comparing Celesty to Thrash Metal or Exodus, just that the rhyming scheme of most vocal lines were similar... but that is common throughout multiple musical styles; I just figured certain Thrash bands would be the example most people would be familiar with.

A stupid question: How do you get the albums for reviews? Why am I asking? Well, on the Celesty: Mortal Mind Creation review it's stated the band is on Arise Records, whilst everyone who'd got the promotional copy or bought the album would've noticed the album is released by Dockyard1... ;) Also, that's also said on the band website, both in the news and in the discography.

That would have been my fault. I entered in the CD information from http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=127475 as that is the easiest place for me to get the album cover; so I took it down from there. But you are right, they are on a different label, I'll have that corrected.

As for where we get our CDs; the majority of them are received as promotional copies the remaning are bought. You have to understand labels can't send the actual promo copy to each particular person on the team. Though we make every attempt to mail out copies to each other when we are going to review a particular release, that's not always the easiest or fastest way to share the promos as about 2-3 specific people get the majority of the actual promos. In otherwords, while someone on the team receives the promom the person reviewing may not have immediate access to all promo materials.

Thanks for noticing the error though.

Hmm. The misleading information still seems to be there... :( I've so far trusted Metalreviews.com (also, the quality of the reviews), but maybe in the core it's not as bright as it has looked liked during the last few years ;)

Changing the label also deleted half of the review along with the album cover, which hopefully can be restored. While the cause is unknown enjoy your half-written review in the interim. And if you decide to not "trust" metalreviews anymore because there was a simple mistake on a label which I already explained, then that's your choice. You know, I can think of a lot things that are a lot more "mis-leading" than an incorrect label. In fact, mis-leading would imply it was done purposely, which it wasn't. None of us get paid for this, in fact, a lot of us put our own money into the site and related services to keep this site running and reviews coming so if something as innocent as an incorrect label causes you to consider the core not being as bright as it has looked during the last few years, whatever that means, than that's your proagative. In any case, it's fixed, even though a potential glitch in our coding has ruined the rest of the review (hopefully temporarily). Enjoy ;)
