Very nice. My favorite Sabbath album. Ozzy's voice is in top form, and of course the rest of the band, as well.
Well done!

Love this album...something very evil about it. Nice progression for the band.

A National Acrobat is maybe my favourite Black Sabbath track. And this would be one of the three BS albums I'd rank as my favourites.

(Along with Sabotage and Paranoid)

I've got nothing against their later stuff but it can't come close to this IMO.

Mine too. This was one of the first Sabs albums I got, and is still excellent.

To really appreciate this and their other albums of the same era, you have to use the time period as a backdrop...
Vietnam was still raging on, the innocence of the 60s was rapidly becoming a burned-out haze of a memory of flashbacks and what might or might not have been, the Jesus Freaks were in full bloom, incidentally, so was the emergence of Satanism and recreational drug use was rampant (at least amongst those that listened to Sabbath)... in short, people were looking for something, though they didn't know quite what it was they were supposed to be looking for.
It was a very different time, and I feel this album in particular reflects this.

This is not my favourite Sabbath album, but it is definitely a classic. Everything about this album is perfect or near perfect. The riffing, Ozzys vocals, everything.

God I love Black Sabbath.

Thirded, such an amazing song! The way the vocals mix with the awesome riffing gives me goosebumps every time.

Same except Master of Reality instead of Sabotage.

I'd go with Black Sabbath and Paranoid, plus this one, obviously. :dio:
