I just re-read my review this afternoon and it is way too long (sorry). The sad part is I actually had it cut down from over 3 pages in microsoft word to its current state of just over 2. If anyone actually reads the whole thing they should get some kind of award.

Those are the reviews that make people want to buy an album though.

I agree. i like the depth of the review. I do not want to read something short, that does not go into detail of the songs and styles. If it is a genre I know I will not purchase, then Im not gonna read the review regardless of length. Sorry, to those you have written those reviews. I might browse through it and when it hits on a comparison of a band I know i dont like, i simply stop reading right there. Which tends to be within the first few sentences.
I saw this thing added to the warriorradio.com playlist and it peaked my interest. I think this is the first review I have seen for it.

This is the official site: http://www.crystallion.net/

Unfortunately, there are only some sound samples from their demo.

Very true...that one guy that used to review here, Danny, wrote super-short reviews and whenever I read one of his it was like "that doesn't tell me anything about the CD".

So I like long reviews.

Well, well, well!
it's been 5 minutes that this album finished playing in my CD player.

The first impression is quite important (but we should not base our taste on the first listen!) and I must say that this album is quite good!

I must say that the author of this review is exactly right when he talks about the singer... His range is so damn small!!! This album misses a few high AAAAAAAAAAH's! The singer does not play enough with his voice, it is too much the same through all the album. (It makes me think that it's the opposite of Heavenly's signer...)

But, for the music, it is quite good and delivers what it is intended to.

Music: 92
Singer: 72
Lyrics: N/A (I mainly speak French, so I do not pay much attention to the lyrics for the first listens)
Originality: 68
Recommended for Power Metal fans: YES!

Seems this is a difficult task. Anyone know where I can grab it. :)

This is one of the bands that I have on my secret kickass-up-and-coming-bands list :)
I really liked the singer on the demo samples, he sounded similar to Daniel Heiman, and the songs sounded kickass too. But I didn't feel the same for the samples on myspace. Where was the catchiness? And it sounded like the singer had restrained his voice
I'd still probably get this, if I'd just see it anywhere...
