I've been thinking of checking these guys out for a bit, but the idea of melodic death metal signed to Century Media kept scaring me away. I just listened to "Culture of Fear" on their myspace and it was good, the riffs and harsh vocals reminded me a bit of Zao.

Not really. Indeed the band had metalcore influences in early releases but those are all gone in my opinion.

Nah the vocals and riffs still have a big metalcore thing going on imo.
