I listened to the four songs on their myspace, they weren't bad but nothing really stood out to me as particularly notable.

I've heard a few songs on xm satellite radio. They weren't bad by any means but didn't stand out at all to me (which pretty much just copies what noodles wrote, but I agree); perhaps listening to the full CD would change my opinion.

Fair enough, I really enjoyed it, it just clicked for me. No idea whether it's a 'grower' or not, I heard it 5 or 6 times as per usual before I reviewed it so that may be the case. If you've heard 4 or 5 and didn't like them then it's unlikely hearing the rest would change your opinion as they're pretty similar. If you haven't heard 539 however I'd recommend that one as it does stick out above the rest to a certain extent.

One thing I forgot to mention in the review is the hidden track about 15 mins after the end of the last song. It bears mention as it's actually a more than decent acoustic-y instrumental tht's totally different to anything else on the album.
