Drudkh is one of my fav bands, I can't wait to ilsten to the new musical elementes named in the review. I have no problem with post rock and melody, but hope they don't drop the harsh vocals for the next album as you guess!

I liked the artcover btw, it's so unblack metal :P it's a nice change from all those paysages d'hiver and forests.

Well, it's nice to see that these dudes did somethink new with their music. Their music was starting to get bit uninteresting. Will have to give this one a try and see if I still like this band after these changes though...

Well I still think many are underselling Microcosmos, and the phrase 'post-punk' inspires mild terror, I am intrigued by this new direction in Drudkh's music. Listening to Alcest is not a bad thing.

I much as I love the traditional Drudkh sound, I admire the adventurousness in seeking to break new ground. I'll def pick this up.

Well, it at least sounds interesting. I for one had lost interest in this band after Estrangement and Microcosmos.

Then I wouldn't check this one out if you don't want to tarnish the memory of how great they used to be.

I agree it's a great album. I was surprised to see some low marks on other sites for this one. I really quite enjoy all their releases.

I put it in the very good, not quite excellent category along with the new Enslaved.

Right now, all pales to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwpNOVf-ieI&feature=related from Dordeduh's ep.

Yes, it is: glad you liked it! Those two guys split off from Negura Bunget to start this band. Full-length coming next year.
