I'm into Ensiferum and Wintersun, so the singer voice in Turisas is a bit too soft for me.

Another surprise this year! Damn, how epic can you make an album :shock: Totally overwhelming Epic Folk Metal; this one could make it into my top 10 of this year

What did I say? I had shit in the ears! The voice is excellent, the music is sooooo epic, wonderful!

Listen to: The Land of Hope and Glory and Among Ancestor.

A buy or die CD!!

PS: Now I cleaned my ears. I'll do that everytime I listen to metal now. :lol:

i'm a bit late on the topic but I just got this album... and what a delight ! almost as good as Ensiferum (and pretty close to Wintersun too, folkier though) & the great emphasis of Rhapsody's Hollywood metal is indeed not far (very accurate description ! bravo!..)
Dago (who hates Rhapsody) should try this one... it has all the fun you can get from the italian Maestros with a blackish/folkish edge... less cheesy then...

I'll give the album 83/100

and i am slowly realizing that they are not that bad... I don't like Dawn Of Victory though... I guess i will check this album out...

I forgot about this album and Immortal Emokid reminded me that this existed so i dl it. After 2 listens i will give this album an 87/100
