Thanks so much for the review on this. I loved Accept when they were popular in the 80's. I've missed out on much of U.D.O.'s solo offerings. I saw this CD online and decided to check and see if you guys had reviewed it. I then ventured over to UDO's site and watched the video for The Wrong Side Of Midnight, which is a great song. I sampled a few other videos ( not realizing that UDO had created that many videos recently) and the song The Arbiter from Thunderball is really great. So, I ordered a few U.D.O. cd's this morning.

Udo's voice is definitely an acquired taste. Most love it or hate it. I love his voice. It's great to see and hear that he's still creating real quality "traditional" heavy metal without giving off the stigma that he's stuck in the past. I don't listen to very much "traditional" sounding heavy metal anymore but this is too good to pass on.

The thing I really like about U.D.O. is that he is simply unstopable. Although he doesn't bring that much new to the table with his solo records, they are definetely some of the most purest Heavy Metal albums you can get your hands on today. And I for one like the fact that he doesn't change all that much, 'cause he simply doesn't need to! (Although this album is a bit darker than previous albums) We have way too many bands trying to change their sound to be "original" or "innovative"... but U.D.O. charges on like he's always done! ... BTW, nice review! 7/10 for me (70/100)
