I think Scott Kelly does quite a few of the vocals on the album, although their two voices are really hard to tell the difference between... I think he does the more menacing whispery type vocals.

anyways nice review and great album, theres one or two songs I think end too soon, but its already 70 minutes long and everything else is perfect so I can't complain much.

You may be right, it will be tough to tell for sure until I see these songs performed live.

Von Till's voice is so much deeper, and most of the vocals sound like him to me. End of the Road is really one of the only spots where I was certain I heard Scott Kelly's vocals.

I used to be able to tell the difference, but not anymore. Still, it's another awesome release by the Big N.

Does anyone know why their bassist stopped singing?

I think because his voice doesn't really fit in with the music on their last few albums... same reason the other two stopped screaming I'd guess. He still did vocals when I saw them live and sounded great :\

I don't think it's because it wouldn't fit (Kelly and Von Till's screaming), it's probably because they _can't_ do it. Which is why they resort to... croaking?

I hope they bring the triple vocal assualts back in the next one. I mean... come on guys. Don't just make it heavy -- make it HEAVIER.

Nah they can both still scream, they've been play mostly songs from Given to the rising or pre-A Sun That Never Sets. When I saw them they only played one from The Eye of Every Storm and two from A Sun and they pulled off all of their earlier stuff flawlessly.

I wouldn't know -- I've never been to one of their shows. Or any show for that matter...
