Kayla, fantastic review! Being a big DT fan, I really want to rush out and get this album ASAP.

This album really comes in the same vein as the previous 2 (Damage Done / Character), in both sound and quallity, at this point I don't believe thay can do any wrong.

Great Review, btw.

Nope. But I do consider this to be one of their weaker albums. Which does not say much, since they are still awesome.

I think you got Skydancer confused with Projector in the review o.O

But this one is much more dynamic than those two. It incorporates elements from the early albums, but more importantly, it incorporates some of that experimental, atmospheric stuff from the almighty Projector!

This album rules!

Listened to this one because I still like DT. Unfortunately, it's nothing new. Sure, it combines some elements from previous albums, but there was little going on that really grabbed my attention.

I thought they developed their style quite a bit for this album. It's great in my books. 95/100.

I'm somewhere in between Husker, Jaden and Misha's opinion. 65/100

You really do, especially if you're a bigger fan of Projector/Skydancer etc. than Damage Done and Character.

 at Husker

Stanne didn't even sing on Skydancer it was A Frieden (Stanne played guitar?), he just did the EP after that and reworked some songs..... I'm pretty sure of that.....

Stanne did not do vocals on Skydancer, save the song "Shadow Duet", in which he played back-up harmony. He picked up vocal duties for the "Chaos and Eternal Night" EP.

And if anything, the cleans sound more like Projector-era stuff.

Elsewise, the review was pretty spot-on. I like how Sundin randomly throws a shred into "Blind at Heart." Pretty varied album, but I am definitely diggin' it.

95/100

Awesome album... DT will never suck.

This one is similar to Character in the atmosphere, but it has more variations in tempos, it's more dynamic and less harsh than Character was.

I really thank the production on this one sounds more polished than Character, and if this one had been released prior to Character, than, maybe this one could be the masterpiece and the order of the events could be considered better aligned... muhahaha

A strong album indeed, DT are kings of Melodic Death 4 ever :dio:
