We have reviewers devoted to the classic heavy/power metal side of things, mate. Yet we've had two ND in a row. That's just what I'm pointing out...

Well, if those devoted to heavy/power wanted to submit a classic this week, I certainly wasn't going to stand in their way. As of this morning, no one had though. So it was either my ND classic, or no classic at all. There was a time not too long ago when the classics section would sit dormant for months at a time. I guess no matter what we do, people will still find something to complain about.

Hey! I'm not complaining... You do the job and you do it well. And so does Zadok.
I'm just saying HUGE classics haven't been reviewed yet and that I would like to see heavy/power metal reviewers as commited as you two are.

Hey, what the fuck man. I'm a heavy metal reviewer, and I'ce done major stuff like Iron Maiden, Killers, Metal heart etc. If you're not happy with that then write something yourself.

Finally, someone understands why I'm getting a little chippy.

Look, ganesha, Luci, etc., I understand what you're trying to do, and criticism is welcomed of course, but this is hardly the place to do it. This thread has been officially derailed. If you wish to disagree with the choice of classics, there are plenty of other places to do it. This thread is for discussion of Napalm Death and Harmony Corruption.

A lot of thought and effort went into it.

Barney was still honing his style at this point, though. As such his grunts don’t have quite the punch and sharpness of the supremely visceral screams he produces today.

I thought it was Mitch Harris that did the big hysterical screams?

Well, yeah. I was talking about Barney's vocals though: call them screams, growls, whatever. All I know is they have become some of the most effectively brutal (insert descriptive term for vocals) I have ever heard. That wasn't the case on Harmony Corruption, which is what I was trying to point out. I guess I should have clarified that a bit better.

Some funny comments guys. Will have to check out this and FETO as I'm still only listening to Scum as far as ND albums are concerned.

HUMAN GARBAGE :dio: :dio:
