Images and words is amazing.

Indeed. I just guess I didn't expect you to like it. I think I have you grossly misunderstood.

What do you mean by that?

Yeah. Husker is an Edguy/Dream Theater liking guy just like the best of us.

Meaning that every time you say you like something I'm usually surprised. Meaning that I've apparently not paid attention to what you like because I have this impression that you only like old school thrash and metal from the early 80's.

It's cool, though. I'll try and pay attention more.

I have to agree with most, this is definetely the best prog metal album I'ever heard and some of the best music ever created. For me it's an eleven out of ten (=110/100) (It's like Nigel Tufnel said: "These go to eleven!" )

I have a question though, a name was mentioned in the review: Patrick Ronda.
Who is this ? I'm curious to find more about him but I don't know where to start. Google and wikipedia didn't help much. Anyone knows more ?

Great album, it has worked its way back into the playlist lately and is better than I remember.

I'm listening to this right now. Great album, though I think Pull Me Under needs a shredding solo.

Been listening to this album a fair amount recently. I had it on heavy rotation a while back (every night more or less) using it to get to sleep (not in a bad way :P ).

Recently Awake seems to have been vying for my attention. Nah, Images and Words just seems to have a completely different "vibe" going on that I prefer more. Especially the intro to Metropolis, Pt. 1, that track gives me serious chills each time I listen to it. Awesome album!

Plus it ends, like, dreadfully.

I think the saxophone solo on the second song is possibly the worst music I have ever heard. I've tried to listen to the album at least 10 times but it always crashes and burns right there.

I think Train of thought was better than this one.

Seconded. Train of Thought is a lot heavier than all of the other DT albums. It's apples and oranges really.

That and the rapping is what makes it not-as-perfect-as-Images-&-Words-is for me.

It was good for it's time, but it hasn't aged too well. I could think of better prog albums.
