I've never fallen in love with this album but it's definitely a classic. And Cold Lake wasn't bad for what it was.

As much as I like Morbid Tales and To Mega Therion, I don't like Into the Pandemonium. Whereas it begins not so bad, but at the latest with Mexican Radio it's beginning to suck. Ok, Inner Sanctum is one last highlight. Maybe the music itself is not so bad (sometimes), but the singing is just weak and TW sounds like a imitator of himself.

Agreed. You already know of my Frosty love, Jimmy, so well done again, great review.

Never heard Cold Lake properly, will have to get all up in that.

I got this but I still have to hear it properly. Actually when it comes to CF, I find myself listening to Morbid Tales a lot. And Monotheist kicked ass.

being a younger listener of the band its kind of hard for me to appreciate Morbid tales for the landmark release of black/thrash in it the time it was released in.
But I enjoyed Monotheist as it is an extremely bleak release from a band that knows how to create art and was around for quite some time.
That and
ARE YOU MORBID!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Morbid Tales has some killer riffage that is immediately recognisable as CF.
