This is the godfather of all modern day power metal albums (or so people say and I could not agree more :D

There are fast songs with shredding guitar and slower songs with great melodies and singing (this applies to all of the songs, naturally).

Michael Kiske does an outstanding job. He is simply incredible vocalist. Not everybody likes his voice but I do and that's good enough for me.

This an album that deserves to be called a power metal classic.

100/100

Find me a power metal fan that doesn't like Kiske's voice so I can punch them in the ear.

Influential, yes!
Flawless, i don't think so,
a 95/100 suits well

So you wouldn't say this is a classic?

Edit - Btw 98/100 for me

Nope. One of the most influential of all time, and I guess you could call it a classic for that reason alone, but musically I don't find it to be nearly as good as the first.

The first one feels incomplete for some reason, I find II to be way better and not one bad song to be had. Plus it doesnt have any song quite as gay sounding as Future World.. Anyone who makes fun of Rhapsody (of Fire) should take a look at this song and promptly shut the fuck up.

I agree with Eyesore on this one.

For me Keepers part I is a classic, clearly. Part II isn't nearly as solid, probably due to the heaping amounts of extra material, it being nearly twenty minutes longer. Some songs are just lame, and some otherwise promising ones are toppled by bad choruses and what have you. But then again, those I consider to be the stupid songs are the ones that many Helloween fans consider favorites...I guess I've never been as big a fan of Helloween's goofy side as others, so I'm partial to part I.

Part I kick ass part II, for me keeper I is 97/100 (and classic), keeper II is 95 (and classic too). But I'm a fan of the less happy-flourish helloween side, so that's the reason I prefer part I.

Future world beats all Rhapsody (of fire) discography by a lot.

Musically, but Im talking lyrically. "Cause we all live in Future World
A world that's full of love" the whole song is like that, its one of the most cringeworthy songs to ever exist, my opinion of course.

Keepers I - Great songs: I'm Alive, A Little Time, Halloween. Good songs: The rest, with exception to Future World's lyrics.

Keepers II - Great songs: Eagle Fly Free, Rise And Fall, Dr. Stein, We Got The Right, Save Us, March of Time, I Want Out, Keeper of The Seven Keys. Good songs: You Always Walk Alone

Honestly I dont think there is really any bad songs on both albums, but II just delivers more and better songs for me.

Well actually a friend of mine says Kiske's singing makes his ears bleed. Still he likes nothing else than power metal and thinks Andi Deris is way better than Kiske because (quote) "Kiske is fucking gay!"

i agree with ken

there are only a few songs that make this album worthwhile, IMO: Eagle Fly Free, I Want Out and Keeper of The Seven Keys.

Nah, there's more than that. Let's see:

01 Invitation - Filler
02 Eagle Fly Free - OK
03 You Always Walk Alone - Very good
04 Rise And Fall - Horse shit
05 Dr. Stein - Stupid
06 We Got The Right - OK
07 March Of Time - Awesome chorus, otherwise, OK
08 I Want Out - Excellent, classic tune
09 Keeper Of The Seven Keys - Boring
10 Save Us - Not part of the original album.

Verdict: Mediocre

02 Eagle Fly Free - The best song in the world
03 You Always Walk Alone - Very good
04 Rise And Fall - Fun, catchy, awesome!
05 Dr. Stein - Fun, catchy, awesome
06 We Got The Right - Awesome
07 March Of Time - Awesome chorus and yet another awesome song
08 I Want Out - Excellent, classic tune
09 Keeper Of The Seven Keys - Fuck, this song is so far from boring
10 Save Us - It's on my album and it's #8 and fuck you it's awesome as well.

Verdict: FUCKING OWNS YOUR MOMS BUTTHOLE

Is that an Invitation? Can an Eagle Fly Free there? Let's go, whatever. You won't make many friends, though, you're a poser, You Always Walk Alone. I'll watch your popularity Rise And Fall like a boner tricked by a fat woman online as people learn the truth about you and your poserdom! That German Dr. Stein with that wacky show on E! won't be able to save you. So quit whining and screaming "Save Us!" That shit is out of order and doesn't belong!!

You will alienate yourself because of your faggotry and the cool people will shun you for all time. We Got The Right, make no mistake. Then we'll celebrate and have a parade, the March Of Time we'll call it. Then you'll cry like an emo turd, like noodles, "Waaaaah! Leave me alone! I hate this place!! I Want Out! Waaaah!"

But too bad, bitch. You're stuck here and everyone hates you! Even that boring retard NESS, Keeper Of The Seven Keys, hates you. You suck. You mediocre turd.

Let's go or we'll be late, Future World sounds AWESOME!!
