This is a killer.
For me, the only Deicide album that is worthy of my ears, but I quite like this one.
Lunatic of God's Creation sets the tone perfectly, all way through to the slamming gates after Crucifixation.

Have not heard this. Still a noob to old Deicide. Only old album I own is Legion, which I enjoy but not on a regular basis.

This album has been on my list for a long time, and this review has moved it up a few notches higher.

Amazing album, pisses all over Legion which is great as well.

You can hear the bits where they 'enhanced' them, most of his growls on this are natural-and his voice on Legion is very similiar and they used nothing on his vocals for that album.

Yes, like I said he's still one of the best growlers around. So damn intense.

Although once in the car when I used to play metal and my mum would have to listen (which was really funny sometimes) I played this and she thought it was funny, then I played Emperor-ITNE and she said something like "This sounds more satanic than that other band you were playing", so there you go, my mum said it-Deicide have no credibility.

Well, being fair you only quoted part of what I said:

I was under the impression when writing that some people thought it was all studio magic, hence saying EVEN IF blah (live he's awesome) still extremely effective. So I wasn't really criticising Sir Glen.

Well, if anyone has any doubt about Glen, they can check out the Amon:Feasting the Beast demos, which contain the same material presented here, just rawer without as much vocal layering. He still sounds great on it. It's about time this got the CLASSIC status it deserves, this is a landmark Death Metal album. Every song on here is great, and the short running time works in it's favor.

Love this album. Personally my favorite is Serpents but this a solid second.
