| Post subject: | Anyone Heard the last While Heaven Wept album? |
Their 2009 album Vast Oceans Lachrymose is probably one of my favorite albums at the moment. Simply amazing and vast indeed. Has anyone heard their latest "Fear of Infinity?" I heard a couple songs on Youtube but can't find a lot of it. The songs I heard were good but not on the same level as Vast Oceans. Anyone give the newer one a listen? |

The former album you mention is of immense lush beauty. However, the latter album seems to be a disappointment for me. Although I have not given the full album a try but only by some tracks I've heard on YT. |

I love Vast Oceans Lachrymose but for some reason the newest one didnt really grab me. Havent heard the earlier albums either. |

I just bought it on Googleplay and it is not nearly as good as Vast Oceans. I think the difference is that Vast Oceans was written by Tom Phillips over the course of 7 years while he tried to find new band members. This one was done in just 2 years. I guess preparation really does matter. |
