So... uh... what was the point of adding a keyboardist if she's hardly there? For image?

Because she gets fucked by Flo?

Honestly don't think it's too bad at all really. Considering the way the initial leaks of Bemoan the Martyr sounded it's a big pleasant surprise.

I got the leak and I honestly think some of the songs are fakes from other bands. Seeing as Cryptopsy is one of my favourite bands and easily my #1 most listened to, that hurts.

The Wikipedia edits are getting funnier. Here's the latest:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptopsy#Lord_Worm.27s_second_departure

Quote:
Lord Worm's second departure

In an interview conducted on October 25, 2006 with Lord Worm [1], he speculates about a new double album (possibly titled The Book of Suffering, split into book one and book two) to be released sometime in October 2007, and possibly an accompanying DVD. Details regarding this new album would change as the band yet again made line-up changes.

On April 23, 2007, Cryptopsy announced that Lord Worm had been kicked out of the band and that they were looking for a new vocalist. [1] After the announcement, Lord Worm stated that he left the group earlier than planned for health reasons which contradicts the previous information of him being kicked out.

On December 4, 2007, Cryptopsy revealed the addition of vocalist Matt McGachy and keyboardist Maggie Durand to the band. Matt McGachy was found to be the vocalist of a Trivium-esque metalcore band known as 3 Mile Scream. The world wept...

The new album, entitled The Unspoken King, will be released in 2008 as announced in a Century Media Records advertisement. Recently, Cryptopsy posted the new song "Worship Your Demons" for stream on their Myspace account and the album in it's entirety was (unfortunately) leaked onto the Internet through P2P networks. The new material is epic fail, and has generated widespread derision from the metal community, especially those who were fans of the earlier albums such as None So Vile[2]. It is official, Averse Sefira pwns them.

Unfortunately, I've put my foot in it by booking it for a review. Hours of torture lie ahead.

Listened to the album again since last post, it's getting worse. Crap of the month worse, even.

Cryptopsy are now going to revert to a failed shell of the None So Vile-era and will blame the keyboardist for the state of the band from this album and beyond.

Blargh.

haha
It’s a hybrid of metal core, death metal, My Chemical Romance and pink dildos flying about.
I wished Lord k reviewed it though.

How do they get away with that, when it's not even officially out yet?

Is anyone actually going to buy the album when it comes out? I doubt it.

The live shows for this should be fun.

Do you think they could get in trouble for that?

They are pretty good actually. I mean not as amazing as the guys in the site make them out to be, but still solid stuff.
