It's a good album, one of my favorites. I don't really see how it's shit. Glader's guitar work is great, the songs have great structure and are very enjoyable, and the album has a great production about it.

I don't like this new song though and I really hope this isn't how the rest of the album is going to sound.

Also "Snowy" sounds like the kinda name you'd give a cat or something.

check their picture up on their MA page, they look horrendous.

That's weird you quoted a post that was 2 posts down from yours unless you copied and past it.

The whole forum was down for like 45 mins that day, and I think at the same time the space-time continuum decided to go out drinking. Crazy stuff.

I've watched a few interviews with Shagrath and every time he gets a question about kicking out Vortex he justifies it by saying "we wanted to bring Dimmu Borgir to the new level and we didn't want to repeat ourselves."
So if you want to change/improve your sound, just kick out some band members and you're done!

And when asked about touring with Korn they said that they never were afraid of a challenge, always do what they want and never ask anyone for approval. So they're actually implying that they personally chose to tour with Korn themselves.

I am simply bewitched by that photo. It is one of the funniest/most pathetic/most embarrassing things I have ever seen.

Never understood the hate for this band. I mean, I don't listen to a whole lot of black metal so perhaps I don't fully understand how un-tr00 or un-kvlt they are. I guess I'm just a sucker for the symphonic stuff which I think they do well. New song is just okay though.

But I totally get why people think they're a bunch of idiots if we're talking about their image, music videos, and whatnot. I couldn't care less for that stuff.

Guess I'm in the minority here then. At first I was put off by the vocals as well, but they've since grown on me. I particularly enjoy the changes in the song and the catchy finale, its purtty. I don't mind the look the band is going with, looks alright, since I have never been a fan of the typical limited clothing options we males are subjected to. But then again what do I know, I'm just a long-haired torn jeans metalhead lol. Sometimes its cool to dress up, certainly garners alot of compliments and gazes, especially from the lady-folk. First and foremost for me the music takes precedence, if I like the way it sounds then alright. I can't wait till I can buy the album. :dio:

The last 1:00-1:30 of the song is definitely the best part.

I've only heard their first album which, in my opinion, is very good. I hear a lot of people insulting them and I'm curious to find out why. I'm going to give their later albums a try.

IMO 'Enthrone' was their only really good album. For all tid and Stormblast were decent but nothing too special.

Pretty much every album after 'Enthrone' had a song or two that I thought were decent, but as a whole they suck.

I guess the best "newer" demon burger album would be Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, but it still isn't very good.

Which one is their worst? I'm kind of interested in hearing it. I'm interested in hearing Death Cult Armageddon so I'll probably look into that one. I find Enthrone to be such a breezy album, a very brisk listen, it runs through rather fast.

Probably Spiritual Black Dimensions or In Sorte Diaboli, the Stormblast redo is pretty awful too.

Shame that Spiritual Black Dimensions is the one that isn't reviewed on this site. I think their trend with the album titles is hilarious.
