I can't stop listening to it. The riffs! The solos! The craziness of it all! I've kinda been bored with newer music lately, but this has gotten my full attention. This album is awesome and one of the best thrash albums in quite some time, well, at least the last 2 years. I can't think of many better, if any.

Agree?

Terrific album.
It's not as surprising as their debut (as it walks the exact same paths) but great nonetheless.

I personally think this blows Black Future out of the water, and I really liked Black Future.

Definitely a step up from Black Future. The Rumpelstiltskin Grinder album from a few years ago is the only thing that I might put over it but I have a soft spot for that album.

I've still yet to give them a fair shake...

I got this a couple of months ago and I was so fucking happy. I couldn't believe they knocked another one of the park. At first I thought it was better than the first one, but after many hours of listening and careful consideration, I have decided that although Outer Isolation is excellent, I don't like it quite as much as Black Future.

It's much more complex than Black Future and has more variety in it's sonic textures, and in both cases that's quite something because Black Future was no slouch in those areas.

So I really appreciate it on that level, but in the end Black Future just had better songs in my opinion. The mid-length tracks on Outer Isolation are all amazing, with Echoless Chamber and Tetrastructural Minds being two of their best songs ever, but a couple of the tracks are a little ambitious, which I never felt about the debut.

I mean, I love it that these guys are challenging themselves, and I wouldn't have it any other way, but I think Cosmic Cortex and in particular Fast Paced Society are a little meandering in places and they don't really stand up to the likes of Forests of Legend or Accelerating Universe.

Also Black Future was thrashier than this one without sacrificing the proginess.

So yeah, amazing album, better than anything anyone else in the scene is putting out by far.....but it's no Black Future.

According to this new interview, they're working on a new album and it's going to be a concept album.

I love you, Vektor.
