How clever am I? Extremely. I doubt anyone'd ever thought of that. I enjoyed Close to the Edge and Fragile immensely, along with a couple of their 80's albums, but in recent years... I can't really see why they're still around. What they're doing now is essentially the same thing that they did back then, and they're not quite as good at doing it anymore. |

'Tales From Topographic Oceans' has been on my 'get' list for ages now. When I find it for less than (a lot less) £17, I'll get it. |

Quite possibly.. I'd take King Crimson over 'em, but Relayer, Fragile and Time and a Word still all completely own me.. not to mention all the cool solo stuff Rick Wakemen went on to do. |

YES is not the best brog band ever for me... I'd choose Van Der Graaf Generator, King Crimson, Gentle Giant or Genesis over them any time ! but they're a fine band and I particulary enjoy "Relayer" (their finest), "Going for the One" and most of what the Trevor Rabin's era gave us, it's more commercial than 70's Yes but it's very clever pop prog and I enjoy it ! |

I only know the album "Talk" and I think it's pretty good. Especially the song "Talk" itself. Very long, changing, special, good vocals. I was impressed when I heard it for the first time. But I can't really compare with other albums...from what I heard, it's ok, but not part from my favourite bands. It's not the kind of bands that makes me LOVE ALL their songs...On "Talk", I like maybe 3-4 songs very much and the other ones not at all. |

I have 2 of the early 70's albums, and I find the music very well written, but I can never seem to enjoy Jon Anderson. I have one of his solo albums "Olias of Sunhillow" and that was quite.... special... hehe. Kinda cool music |

Totally overrated, but they have some moments for sure. In particular I thought Fragile was highly overrated, and I especially can't stand roundabout, and I thought their rebirth era was awful. But from the beginning to the post-fragile 3 song albums and such, they had their moments. I'd agree with King Crimson as being a more likely candidate for the best of prog. |
