Any other fans out there? I have their first 3 albums, 'Ten'+'VS' are great but 'Vitalogy' is taking a bit of time to grow on me, more exprimental. Anyone got the fourth ('No Code', I think), is it as 'different' as 'Vitalogy'? |

I love 'em, favorite album is Riot Act. No Code is even more experimental than Vitalogy, so don't bother with it if you want classic Pearl Jam. They got steadily more and more experimental as they went along, except with Yield, which is something of a regression. |

No Code is my fav actually... it's their folkiest album, the one they recorded at the same time they did Neil Young's Mirrorball and that shows in the music... Vedder is in top form and I hear no weak song on No Code... a great purchase... something like 90/100 for me my second fav' has to be Yield, a more rocky/punky outfit but PJ were still in very good form Binaural & Riot Act (the last two album) have disappointed me big time but I'm still expecting this band to produce good music so I'm looking forward to their next effort... anyone knows for when it's scheduled ? :? |

I hear it'll be ready for Christmas, but that's tentative. Could be earlier. Riot Act was great. |

I don't mind the folky elements on 'Vitalogy' per se, but they don't seem to gell with more classic-PJ-style songs that are on there. I'll give it some time. |

Each album sort of has a life of it's own. Personally I think they're excellent. The double-CD Lost Dogs is great, as well. They have some really killer b-sides. |

Good band with some pretty solid songs. Too bad i can't stand Eddie Vedder's voice. Makes me want to throw my stereo out of the window. |

I was a big fan of Pearl Jam, my favourite albums are Ten, Vitalogy, and Vs I still listen to them once in awhile, a few selected songs, like Betterman, Corduroy, Alive, Daughter, Elderly Woman Behind A Counter In A Small Town, Given To Fly I was just listening to Temple Of The Dog while stoned yesterday, some really great songs in there ![]() |

ten is frequently compared to nirvanas nevermind by "grunge" people (or what ever they wanna call themselves). I never saw any similarity between the two bands. And TEN kicks the shit out of any nirvana. |

I second that Hell Yeah! I own Ten and No Code, and I love them both. No Code is definitely more varied, and subsequently a bit hit and miss in parts, but when they get it right- for example "who you are", this is a very uplifting and inventive album. |

I love Pearl Jam. Ten was the first CD I ever bought, and I've been a fan ever since. They put on a great live show too. |
