The soundclips of these old songs done live still sound as good as they did back in the day. A litle different because he is more relaxed with age, but great AOR nonetheless. One of the best songwriters to come from the 80s, especially for ballad type stuff :)

Buy Mike's solo album called Remembering White Lion, the new versions of the old songs are excellent. All of his solo albums are great, more like alt-rock with a bit of country flare, I guess. Good, good stuff.

yeah i have two of his releases. Did not get the songs left behind tho. Did not know Remembering White Lion was updated versions of the old tunes, but another money-grap "greatest hits " release. Thanx for the info :)

Yeah, every song is different. It's really, really cool. In the same vein as his solo work. It's really cool hear the songs this way, the lower register fits his vocals better, I think.
