The film more or less sucked. Way to fuck with the book, Burton.

The Blair Witch Project

I watched it on channel 4 last night, it's the 2nd time I've seen it. People always tell me it isn't scary, but TBWP is the only film I've seen which actually SCARES me (as in not just a jump) and it pushes all the right buttons to fucking make me feel so uneasy...that cabin...

Get it on DVD, the extras are creepier than the film. Which I found quite creepy, half drunk. If you can get into it, it's ok.

I didnt think it was all that bad either - 7/10.. But what the fuck was up with the sequel, one of the worst movies ever.. Right up there with House of The Dead.

Good, idnit? I thought I could never enjoy a noir 'classic' until I saw this one. Some of the moments are truly sublime.

Derailed! Not that I regularly go to see Jennifer Aniston films, but it was mainly the fact that it had Vincent Cassel as the baddie that made me go. In the end it was OK... nothing special but twisty enough to be interesting.

Also The Last Horror Movie, again.... it's rare to find a horror film that has an ending to genuinely live up to the rest of the film, as well as a truly top notch leading actor. Good work!

From Dusk 'Till Dawn

Great black comedy, some bits where really funny "I saw him mouth the words help me!" "I was not fucking giving him signals!" Then cue into absolutely craziness with strippers and vampires. 9/10

The Thing (John Carpenter)

Very cliched.. but some great visuals. I think the folks over at Id owe him a debt.

Man I was watching Aliens on Saturday with my friends, almost completely drunk, ranting on about how awesome the effects were.

"Look at that! Just look at that" (refering to the bit where the Alien Queen is approaching the elevator towards the end)

Stan Winston is a God, practical effects rule.

It is awesome. So much good technical stuff. For some reason, i love the bit when he destroys Susans room. The camera angle and Orson Welles acting are great.
