we get the ppv's and sd! and raw here, but with 3 or so weeks in delay. no saturday night main event though.

atualyl i find smackdown! much better than raw. smackdown has lashley, rey misterio, chris benoit, the mexicools, kurt angle, the cruiserweight action (i love those high-flying moves), the undertaker and of course THE ANIMAL batista.

raw only has RVD, HHH, HBK and cena. other than that it's BOOOOOOOORING! kane and the big shw are boring and slow and shit, ric lair is old and fat and has about 2 different moves, edge is a girly man and the women fighting is pathetic. also there's too much talking on raw. did you see the "hbk retirement signing" thing? 10 minutes of hbk and vince staring at eachother only to see hbk not sign it AND not beat up vince?

They made Shawn take a piss test the next week in the ring. He threw the piss on Vince and Shane. I liked the WCW Cruiserweight division, WWE's is pathetic. They banned half of the moves that the guys did. You can only do a Shooting Star Press if it's your finisher. Lame. Plus they really need to stop doing the Cruiser Battle Royals, just let the guys have a match. I do like some guys on SD!, I don't really know what it is. Maybe it's because here, RAW is live and SD is taped, and I know the results from SD four days in advance.

It's too bad man. Up here we have this new fed called TNA:Total Nonstop Action. They put emphasis on wrestling, and only talk to set up matches. They have what is called the "X" Division, which is Cruisers turned up to 11. They do what is called an "Ultimate X" match that consists of ring ropes tied in an X above the ring. The title belt is suspended from the aerial cables, and you have to grab the belt from the cables, naturally. It blows anything the WWE is doing right now away. The ring is, oddly enough, six sided, which gives the guys more places to go up top. I've seen some amazing stuff in the past 2 years they have been on the air, plus they recently signed Sting, Scott Steiner, and Christian. You would have to see a Canadian Destroyer to believe it. It's a full 360, flipping piledriver! I don't know how they do it without breaking the dude's neck on the landing.

Astaroth: Kurt Angle isn't a heel anymore.

Idol: piss test? piss thrown on people? you see?! that's the kind of stupid shit on raw that i can't stand. also shit like the live sex celebration. and when they use the chair etc., they never show the replay (on smackdown! you can see it).

TNA: i have a video of that - AJ Styles vs Amazing Red, which totally kicks ass. i also saw a fight from ROH, aj styles vs paul london, with some crazy moves.

i know SD!'s cruiser divison isn't that great, but it's much better than the women's thing.

Hey everybody, check out how much I suck...

Over the past few months I've missed the following gigs through a combination of ignorance, laziness, and having no friends/money:

Sunn 0)))
Dragonforce
Decapitated
Pelican

All this means that I'm now feeling determined to go see the Berzerker tonight, even if I don have to go alone

£11.50 I'll never see again... I got there to find out the unpleasant, unadvertised truth: 5 support bands! More specifically- 2 decent support bands, but three horrible techcore support bands that ranged from pointless to just plain woeful. I never thought I'd leave a gig before the headliners arrived...

So, I do stupid things when I'm bored and pissed off... I regret not hanging around a little bit, but at the time I just had an overwhelming urge to stop listening to hardcore.

Well that was just silly (I mean from you're point of view...I'd leave any gig early to avoid The Berzerker :P ). Where's your zombie endurance?

To be fair, the opening act were cool as fook, so they were easily worth about £3. And I like Madman is Absolute (my favourite Scottish metalcore band! ) so I'd pay up to £6 to see them.

So really I'd only pissed a couple of quid totally down the plughole. But Berzerker are really a "meh" band for me anyway. It was a big gamble for me forking out for the ticket. Didn't really pay off...

I'm not moving to Coventry for the sake of a call centre job.

I'm just pissed off that we've being getting hit with the usual onwards and upwards bullshit since they hired me in November, when this must have been on the cards for a while.

Until I leave the business world (hurrah!) to go back to college (huzzah!)

Provided I pass my audition next month. If I fail then expect the countdown to vanish, and me to be very miserable.

Heh, no doubt I shall make a big song and dance about it just before I go to the audition so you can say good luck then :D

But I want to do a postgraduate degree in jazz performance at the Guildhall in London.

Ooh. Very middle-class of you! :P You'll have to send us all tickets so we can some to your shows and embarass you.
