I'll get it on DVD when it's out.

I've seen it. I liked it. I'm gonna buy it just for those extras. Thanks Jason.

Are there two versions of this, because I can only find one and it doesn´t say anything about a second disc or extra material?

It's good to finally see a documentary that doesn't just scratch the surface of metal i.e. Judas Priest, Ozzy, Metallica, Motorhead.

Great review!

I agree, this DVD was very entertaining and I will be purchasing it as soon as I find it. I was a little disappointed with the black metal section of the movie because it dealt so much with just the church burnings. But they seemed to redeem themselves with the extra 20+ minutes on the second disc.

Because the one with the extra content is called "a special addition" so you have to seach pretty hard now that it has been out since april. But all in all you want the one with the extra disc, really makes your moneys worth even more.

Good movie, but not critical enough.

Its a good movie, though I don't know why he included Slipknot.

I didn't buy it because of that and because, frankly, I didn't think a lot who I saw listed as being interviewed was crucial to how I see Heavy Metal.

Although i dont like Slipknot, and they could have found a better replacement, they still had some knowlageable things to say. But thats no reason not to buy it. They rest of the movie definatly makes up for it in the end.

When I saw them live he has a neck like a fucking cow's leg, and when he was windmilling it looked really scary.

Yeah, see I'm implying that his neck is so thick its like an extension of his torso.
