Seeing todays game now I can surely say "FUCK THE WORLD CUP 2006". This was by far the shittiest one I've seen so far. If the semi final game happens between Ukraine and Germany, two shitty teams who could get their ass kicked by anyone any day, I won't even watch the game. Even fucking Brazil was a dissapointment. The refs, the games, this tournament was a shitfest.

Germany played like shit. I hope Italy destroys them, and Ballack breaks his leg and never plays again.

Who says Italy will win vs Ukraine?

Anyway Germany played like shit but they are like fucking perfect when it comes to penalty kicks.

I thought they deserved to win after playing like garbage for most of the game. After that one play a few minutes after the Argentinian goal when the German defense totally collapsed Argentina went pretty much chanceless the rest of the game. Argentina stopped trying to score the moment Germany tied the game.

Germany played badly and made one lucky goal, mainly because they inured the main goalie. Abondianzeri is a Veteran, but Franco had no idea what he was doing, and didn't have the experience to handle penalties. The Argentine team knew that and that's why Ayala and Cambiasso missed. The Germans did not deserve to win, and they don't deserve the World Cup. As for Italy, of course they're going to win. So far they're winning 1 - 0. Now all I need to see is England lose to Portugal, and Brasil lose to France. I'll be happy with that setup.

I hated to see the Argentine goalie out too but from a neutral perspective I don't see why Germany is somehow to be scorned for merely being opportunistic.

Germany is far too fucking lucky, 2nd place last time, ok, I can live with that but this time too? Fuck off! When will the teams who try to play decent football get anywhere?

And somebody answer this, how come every fucking time the country who hosts the world cup ends up in at least the semi finals? How come? The supporters can only get you somewhere, it cannot possibly make such a huge difference.

Fucking Blatter should drown in his own vomit. btw.

One thing is for sure, the first half of this game was dreadfully boring. But both teams deserve blame for that..

It's the referees, the goddamn referees. The refs should be chosen at random a few minutes before the game. They should also have no bias. All the refs pull for the bigger team. Always.

the problem is finding a ref that's 100% unbiased. one way or another there'll be a team that beat his country in a game, or is rival to the ref's team, etc etc.

and even video cameras won't solve it, because in the end people will still only see what they want to see.

as for Germany's game, i only watched the (rather crappy) first half. what happened after that (except for the pentalties) to piss you off so much?

Argentina x Netherlands was supposed to be a great game, and turned out to suck, same with Argentina x Germany... bah.

All I wanted was an exciting game. The first half was awful. Argentina losing its goalie in the 2nd half was a terrible break but that team folded like a cheap tent towards the end of the game.

The only thing that deserves to be on a hate list ist football itself.
22 ridiciously overpaid pinheads hunt after a ball and millions and millions of usually sane persons fall into some kind of mass-hysteria.
Why the hell? Do you really think these crybabies play for their countries? It's about money and nothing else but money. Money that they get from those assholes who go to the stadium and those who turn the TV on. Increased audience rating, increased earnings from commericals, increased club's share, so that they can pay those crybabies 5 Millions a Year. 5 Millions - for what?? For this shit, with which those teams torture the viewer 120+ minutes again and again? Stop crying about referees, cry about yourself that you are interested in such a pointless shit.
I can't believe it. Several Million German people celebrated on the street. But it's not universal peace, victory over diseases.... No! A bunch of crybaby millionaires put two shots more in a goal than the other team. Pathetic!

besides, you have to realize that the players are the main thing behind an industry that's worth millions, so they have to get a piece of the action, seeing as they make it happen.

no one likes a sad show, but that's football for you.

Every kind of amateur sport. Watching a seventh league football game is still fun because the players play for the sake of the game.

well, i play football in a small club and for my country's -17 team, and you know how much i get payed? 50€ per match, and i never asked for it. i play because i love to play it, not for the salary which i give more than half to my sister to pay for her studies. any professional sport is performed by talented players who play for the sport but also for the wealth and fame. i never met someone who wouldn't want to be in their place.
