Indeed, i also loved Crash.

Ludacris is fucking hilarious, "buses have large windows to humiliate the black man that is forced to use public transportation" (or something).

Forrest Gump - in Wikipedia it says the author of the book was ripped off because he was promised a share of the profits, but hollywood accounting made the results in such a way as showing the film as a flop, so there were no profits, and so he got 0. sad.

Saw Superman the other night and thought it quite boring.

I like Crash too, I thought Matt Dillion was good in it.

I saw One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest last night. It was really good but I think I have to see it again. It was quite late and I was almost too tired to think :?

By the way, I just discovered that we have The Shawshank Redemption recorded on VHS  I didn't know that is was that film because it has a pretty strange name in swedish...

Both are brillaint movies. What is the name in Swedish?

Nyckeln till frihet (The key to freedom).

By the way, I need to watch more movies :? I just checked imdb.com's list of the 250 best movies ever and figured out that I have seen about 25 of them.

I wouldn't worry about that imdb list. It is filled with crap. Just about every "cool" major American movie in the past 5 years is on it.

Crash was a horrible movie that displayed everything I hate about Hollywood. It was full of all these bullshit formulas that were made to get emotional reactions from people and are so overused in movies it just makes me lose interest. Not to mention so much of it was stupidly unrealistic, which I normally forgive but in a movie that is trying to be serious it makes me want to smack the writer for not being able to think of something better.

Anyways I saw Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang this morning and it was a really funny movie. It's like a parody mixed with being better than the type of story it makes fun of. Robert Downey Jr's performance = omgawesome

GREAT MOVIE!!

8.5/10

Elijah Wood chooses strange roles, but pulls them off so well.

Btw, towards the end he makes comments about a ring and says goodbye to a dog named Sam. I laughed.

It's different, but definitely a "premium" movie.

Watch the movie and you'll get the premium thing.

I just finished watching Stay. It reminded me a lot of Pi/Requiem for a Dream, which is only a good thing since Daren Aronofsky kicks insane amounts of ass... Ewan McGregor pwns as well, so I would suggest watching it if you like sort of weird, dreamy kind of movies.

I saw the best trailer ever on Friday night:

Text appeared on a black screen:

"This summer will have a lot of blockbusters"

"There will be amazing special effects"

"Swashbuckling pirates"

"Animated adventure"

"But they won't have"

"SNAKES

ON A PLANE"

Oh how we loled. I can't wait. :D

Just watched Assault on Precinct 13.
6.5/10 from me. Nice action and other cool shit (you know...guns...), but it was kinda of a empty. Didnt really offer anything.

Kinda why I enjoyed it. When I'm watching an action film I don't really care if the lead character's going through a messy divorce but still loves his wife. The fact that Ethan Hawke's back story was so crappy and perfunctory to the action actually helped the film, in an 80s action sort of way.
