Did anyone see the Switzerland-Ucraine game?

Highlight of the match: A BIASED REFEREE!

that fucker called every single swiss 'almost-foul', but whenever a ucrainian did something totally illegal he didn't do a shit! Switzerland would have won but we lost in the penalties.

And switzerland could have made it to the quarterfinals.... sniff...

You know why that happened? Beacuse so far every single ref was biased in favour of SWI and now everyone knows it's because of Blatter so the refs are now trying too hard not to look like they're helping Switzerland. You guys wouldn't have been there in the first place if the refs weren't biased. So shut up and be glad you made it there.

:( all right. but the local software store was offering discounts if switzerland would have made it to the quarterfinals...

Damn, I'm expecting a tactically perfect but boring as fuck game that goes to penalties after 0 -0 after 120 minutes. Would be quite fitting for this tournament :roll: Seriously this has been the most boring World Cup I have seen. By the way, Fabio Cannavaro might be the best player in the entire tournament. He was fucking amazing against Germany.



Hahahahaha! I have been away for one week, and during the Portugal - France match the commentator said something like "Pauleta has been one of the major dissapointments in this World Cup. 1 goal in 5 matches simply isn't acceptable for a striker like him". Then I thought "I'm pretty damn sure that when I get home, Azrael has written yet another long rant about how much Pauleta sucks"

well, during the match I was thinking "man i feel like writing another Pauleta rant"

i wouldn't say he was a disappointment, as that implies that i expected anything special from him, which i didn't.

like the game today - he missed a good shot and generally sucked, Nuno Gomes played like 20 minutes or so and scored.

but it seems that this was Pauleta's last game with the portuguese shirt, and he said goodbye with tears in his eyes. i also had tears... tears of beautiful joy!

KKTHXBYE PAULETA! good riddance to bad rubbish...

On the game:

FUCKING SCHWEINSTEIGER! FUCKING ASS PIRATE MOTHERFUCKER! if BALLACK had played, i bet even he wouldn't have done such damage. stupid pig-fucking Schweinstiger bastard.

Seriously though, he played a great game and deserved his ovation. two great goals, and direct influence in the own goal.

But i think we didn't deserve to be down 3-0 and to lose 3-1, i think 2-1 at most was a fair enough score. our biggest problem was (again) actually penetrating the opposing defense - playing in the other team's side of the pitch isn't the same as attacking.
Nuno Gomes and Figo should've come on much earlier.

meh.... good WC campaign, we were unlucky, but Germany and Italy (i won't say France, though) deserved their podium spots more than Portugal. we'll be back in 2010, i hope

We said goodbye (at international level) to Luís Figo (who ruled and deserves total respect), Pauleta (fuck him) and maybe a few more players... it's a shame that Figo never got a title at international level, but that's football for you.

Zidane acted like an asshole in his last match, he got what he deserved. he was an incredible player, it's a shame it had to end that way.
