Underworld Evolution. Perhaps not as good as the first one, but I love blood som much it hurts to see it all go to waste. And dark, violent films attract me.

Ichi the killer was a real letdown, I agree with the score. Same with the hills have eyes, although I would probably rate it even lower. God damn "scary" movies suck these days.

The Cave - 3/10 Laaaaaame. The black guy survived too, so it broke the rules.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But Audition was great. Some people think it's a bit slow at first but I thought the overall pace was effective. I'm on a Japanese-horror/shock film-watching spree. "A tale of two sisters" and "Visitor Q" are up next. Visitor Q's supposed to be pretty twisted...

"Scary" movies do suck these days but The Hills Have Eyes was actually disturbing and I dont normally get bothered by watching any horror movie...and yeah Ichi is too hyped for what it is.

Descent > Cave

But Decent = 5/10

V for Vendetta - OK, nothing special. 5/10

Tristram Shandy - A Cock and Bull Story - sort of like spinal tap but for moviemaking - 8/10

Superman Returns - 3 / 10

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest - 10 / 10 (can't believe I've gone 23 years on this earth without seeing that film)

I saw Dogma again with a friend. What a great movie that is. 9/10, and for a comedy thats quite a feat.

SPOILER AHEAD!
The Descent is even worse. They could have made it a psykological drama where the ladies found no way out or source for food, so they would beging to fight eachoter and eat one another. Or something like that ya know. But oh no, some freaking "monsters" had to appear.
Bollocks.

/\ Not really a spoiler, you could tell that from the trailer. But the thought of pot-holing scares me - the danger of cave-ins, having to squeeze through tight spots - so it looked a rather good horror. Is the only reason youse didn't like it is because of teh monsters?

Not only that, but it was slow, bad and felt very uninspired. I can't get scared from films, so I guess when that failed the movie had nothing else to offer. It only felt like a waste of time to see it, and I hate to know how films will end as soon as I start watching. Which seems to be the problem with almost all hollywood flicks these days.

See, The Descent is gritty and visceral, but doesn't really have much holding together other than "Omgz! Monsters! In the dark! UNDERGROUNDS!"

The Cave is a dumb 12A 'horror' that has nothing going for it at all other than Daniel Dae Kim being awesome and Piper Perabo being hawt.

March of the Penguins. The penguin that got left behind to die nearly made me cry.
