Ha, I dip Snuff, the American version of your Snus. 21 years now I have been doing it. Trust me kids, don't start anything fucking nicotine based, it is such hell to quit. I run out sometimes when I am overseas (can't buy it there and my Mom usually ships it to me) and it is like the worst hell on earth. Just stop, now.

In the US it is moist fine ground tobacco, you put it in your lip, we also have chewing tobacco here too which is leaf tabacoo you chew. There are 9000 brands, I dip Copenhagen, always have, prob always will. You can also get the really finally ground stuff that you can snort but that is way old school from the UK and shit.

I don't know about the Snus stuff but I have tried snuff from India before that was good.

Misha is right about people asking you what it is. Asians are fascinated by them until they try it and it makes them puke. The nicotine level in snuff, especailly copenhaage is higher then cigs though and if you are like me it is god awful to quit. The stuff from Swedden sounds much safer.......

Snus and the stuff you take, are the same thing.



Either you have it like that, or you can choose to have it in small
packages(doesn't drip as much).

I use to smoke on a daily bases but now it is only on the weekends. It has been going on for the last year or so, and I smoke Americans so it wasn't very easy to reduce them to the amount they are, now. What can I do, I love smoking!

Copenhagen snus? I've been living here for years and I didn't even know we had our own brand in snus. I use the stuff from time to time, but normally I'm just smoking cigarettes. I'll agree with crast on Onyx being good, but the "Bornholmer snus" from Bornholm (a little Danish island near Sweden) has a certain charm to it that I like very much as well.

I'll just drop a little link for leeeeeeee and Kath so they can explore the world of snus, haha..

It is a US brand of snuff named Copenhagen, supposedly since 1822, made by the US Tobaccao company.

Snus is illegal in the EU, except in Sweden (Wikipedia). Norway is in EFTA, not in EU, in case you were wondering.

Well, Swedes have no problem traveling around in Europe(or most
of the world for that matter) with snus. I know that there are certain
countries where the amount of snus that you can bring in is limited,
and I think certain muslim countries where it is illegal. But most of
the time it's not a problem, most people are just curious wtf it is.
