I will not have Will Ferrell hate! Well actually I dont care, I find the man to be funny as hell and I will enjoy his ridiculous acting ways no matter what thou sayest!!

I dont understand how someone could watch Anchorman and not laugh or laugh at him yelling for meatloaf in Wedding Crashers, or his extremely creepy role in Starsky And Hutch, I really cant, but thats cool, as long as I enjoy him, I could care less what anyone says.

Just showin some ferrell looove, niggaz :dio:

he plays a biker named Big Earl. There are some funny scenes with him when he's in jail. other than that I suppose he's an OK funny man.
I like him in some movies like Anchor Man.

Harold and Kumar - funnier than most stupid teenage comedies but still had a few lame parts.

Will Ferrell is rubbish. As was Hostel, last night. Bad porn + removing fingers does not a good film make. Although I did chuckle when the guy tripped over and cut his own leg off.

Hmm, Hostel would have been a good film if you could have removed the first 30 minutes or so.

Even then, still pretty rubbish. I hope Susperia turns out better when I finally get my mitts on it...

I already do.

(From now on, that means embarassment. I won't have new smileys without being able to name their meanings...)

Yes, I like the change but sometimes I feel the lack of an "oops" smiley.

There was a lot more wrong with it than that.

Hmmph. Sleazy and brutal by mainstream standards. What more could you want?

I guess less of the blatant Europhobia would have been nice, but anyhoo...

I just hate stupid bits in films like....say...the part where [zomg spoilers] the lead guy confronts the girl who was paid to drug them and she's turned into some sneering monster who thinks its oh-so-funny that she's condemned people to death. I mean, I get that people can do some bad stuff for money, but is it an amazing coincidence that they happened to find someone so e-e-vil to the core to do the job? All the convienient resolutions and co-incidences pissed me too.

Maybe I'm looking for too much in a hack 'n' slash film, but I don't like having my intelligence insulted.

But it's in the nature of these films that some people have to be evil to the core. Having some sexy young lay-dees as the evil ones isn't any less unbelievable than anyone else.

But anyway that's not the point. The point is not to be realistic, but to ask the audience a hypothetical: What if you went to a foreign country and everybody there was evil? Then the director is simply exploring the possibilities of that "what if?". It's really supposed to be more like having a bad dream, with all the freaky atmospherics that entails. (lol i dont meen ssing the filmslike a bad dream lolz)

I thought Hostel sucked. I was hoping for something along the lines of a Saw.
