Yeah I can't imagine it being that good since the only thing that made Red Dragon good was anthony hopkins and edward norton... the plot was fairly standard for suspense movies...

Ha do you read? It was standard because it all came from a book.

uggh, watch Manhunter from Micheal Mann (the true Red Dragon movie) that is so much better movie and the dude from CSI plays the Ed Norton part. Serious, check it out, you will dig it.

Dude, that movie blows retarded goats. The acting is wooden as shit, and the whole thing is a long drawn out bore. Not that Red Dragon was much better, but nobody should waste their time with Manhunter.

Your nuts man, it is an awesome movie. You might not like Mann's style but like he did with Heat he knows how to make a great movie? Wooden acting, real life is wooden dude and it gets translated well here, especially just with a type of surreal and haggard look on Wills fce. I don't even think you have seen it........ :)

The mood, tone, all follows the book closely and works well plus it is just surreal in parts.

Manhunter is a great movie, I am not that only one that thinks so either...... Some other comments....

of course if you have the attention span of a gnat, 16 years old and want everything handed to you or think Joe Dirt and Ricky Bobby are the height of film making this might not be for you.

Trust me, Manhunter is the shit.

SHUT THE FUCK UP. I have seen the movie, a friend gave me the DVD for X-Mas when DVD's First came out. Just because you and some fags over at IMDB like a shit movie, doesn't mean jack squat to me. The acting was wooden, Hayden Christianson puts more emotion into a performance than the B-Rate actors that were in that movie. It was terribly low-budget, and hasn't aged well at all. It's a B-Rate, always has been, always will be. Silence of the Lambs is the only movie in that whole series that is worth a damn.

I would love to punch your retarded elitist ass in the fucking face.

Damn dude easy on the Meth.......

Like I said if you have the attention span of a gnat and you are like 16 (or act like it) you probably won't like the movie, if you have some taste and don't have screen names based off of Tony Martin Sabbath albums you might like it.

None of the things you have said are true, are you sure you weren't watching that gay porn you got of the net called "maneater" instead?

Have you ever really punched someone? And i am not talking about when you and your boyfriend donkey punch each other in bed either.....

FUCK OFF! Please, comparing a low-budget, B-Rate piece of shit to a cinematic masterpiece like Heat? You are fucking insane. Heat had a monster budget and award-winning actors. Manhunter had the douche from CSI, who still can't act his way out of a wet paper sack. It looks like it was shot on the cheapest camera they could find. Just because you and some other queers over at the IMDB(M is for moron) liked a shit movie, doesn't make your OPINION law. It's fucking boring as all hell. Hell, the king of wooden acting himself, Hayden Christrensen puts in better performances than what's in that movie. It's a fucking B-Rate dude, alwaus has been, always will be.

Oh, and nobody can be over 16 but you right? I'm 25 fuckhead, and I wish I lived in the same place as you, so I could come to your house and bash your head through your own fucking coffee table, you shit-stirring piece of shit. You come here for the sole purpose of insulting people and starting fights, I'm confused why your pointless existence on this board and in life continues to go on.

I don't own a coffe table, just a bed and a car, will that work for you? You can pick one.

Anyways, despite your apparent Meth rage and losing touch with reality, Manhunter has all the Mann trademarks and yeah, you are right, it was done on a low budge similiar to what he did with Miami Vice, of course Heat is better but all of the same stuff is there, just with a bigger budget.

Anyways, if you are going to freak out and go into a Meth rage and want to beat me up (do you really still beat people up?) because I like Manhunter and you don't it really isn't worth pursuing. You started all of this anyways when I just said if you like Red Dragon you should watch Manhunter because I think it is better and you responded with it is a shitty movie and I just stated why I don't think it is. I just used IMDB to point out that some other people liked it as well. Come on man, you stated that Anchorman was a great movie now how can I ever take you serious about anything?

Anyways, get some rehab, take a valium to come down off of your 4 day Meth binge and lets talk about some more movies......

Brick. Pretty good homage to early noir films.

Good movie.

Manhunter > Red Dragon > leee

Red Dragon sucked, Manhunter wins by default (it was sort've ok, Brian Cox was really good as always).

The worst part about Red Dragon was how they wanked out what was essentially an extended cameo for Dr Lecter just to get more screen time for Anthony Hopkins hamming it up. The way they marketed it as a Lecter movie when it was nothing of the sort was so pathetic (and that little bookend where they try and tie into Silence of the Lambs....ugh).

Hitchiker's Guide was a crapfest of menstrual proportions.

Yeah, that's right, I'm using nonsensical adjectives now.
