Today I had an exam.
It was a cunt of an exam.
I studied and I studied,
But I studied the wrong thing.

I opened the paper.
I saw the first question.
Out loud I said "fuck!".
And my classmates laughed.

Stupid exam.

Well, 40 out of 75 isn't a major loss I suppose.

Edit: By the way the Blue Card is a compulsory thing that all teachers here require, it doesn't mean I've been under investigation.

I've officially started classes now; I've been to all of them but the digital art class, which starts in 40 minutes. I'm learning stuff already, though.

Minä olen opiskelen suomea. Nimeni on Kayla. Oletko sinä?

If I've just slaughtered the punctuation/syntax, please tell me.

Was she wearing a white t-shirt? I mean I've seen her boobs before, I was just curious.

My voice is sore, my ears are ringing and I'm totally stuffed. Yep, tonight I just saw Danzig. My brief summary....meh.

In a way I wish I didn't see them because the fantasy behind the music is tarnished a bit. This is no fault of the band or the man himself, but the event itself had some elements that kind of ruined it. For starters the two support bands were shit, and I mean fucking atrocious. Why are Australian metal bands so fucking bad. They were really starting to piss me off with their repetitive hardcore GROAR shit. Terrible. The crowd were even yelling out things like "fuck off", and "you fucking suck".

Then I wanted to get right up close to the stage. I was with a group of friends and my wife was among us, which meant I had to spend more time keeping her from being crushed in the ensuing chaos than actually enjoying the show.

And the crowd. What happened to the cool crowd when Nightwish played atthe same venue? It was replaced by a bunch of fucking scum. This cunt in front of me was on speed or some shit and kept flailing around everywhere. Even my sharp elbows to his kidneys didn't slow him down. If we hadn't have gotten out of the mosh pit I would have smashed the cunt's face in.

Whn Danzig played the speakers were up so loud that it was just a wall of noise. You could barely distinguish anything going on in the actual tunes. But I was singing along like a trooper anyway.

As for the highlights;
*Glenn is not as little as everyone makes him out to be. Yeah, he's shorter than average, but he's no midget.
* There was a heckler as soon as he came on stage, and I knew what was coming soon. And that was a boot from Glenn right in the cunt's face. Much hilarity.
* Doyle is a very tall man.
* There was a great fight between the sound desk guy and some other bloke. Very entertaining.
* Most importantly of all, Danzig saw ME a few times. I was singing along and pounding my fist in the air when he made eye contact a few times and gave me this look of "yeah!". Awesome!

I think Glenn hated the gig. After two encores he just dropped his mic and stormed off without a word. And it was over. And with that crowd and that sound system, who could blame him.

That would be something like "I am learn finnish. My name is Kayla. Are you?"

The correct way to say "I've been studying finnish. My name is Kayla. Who are you?" (that's what i assume you were trying to say) would be "Minä olen opiskellut suomea. Nimeni on Kayla. Kuka sinä olet?"

Don't feel bad. Finnish is one of the most difficult languages in the world to learn for a non-native, i hear.

I still don't know how to feel after seeing Danzig. It was such a buzz seeing the man I've idolised for years in the flesh, but I really didn't have a great time.

So, since today was rainy and cold and I had nowhere I had to be, I locked the doors and spent all day lying in bed with the heater on reading Wuthering Heights and watching tv.

Kiitos. (Please, for the love of God, tell me I got that one right.) I'm not surprised it was terrible; I've only been to two classes thus far.

Pffft! Talk like that. It's funny as hell!

Today I am tired. I was on-call for work from 12:30am to 4am for three days until Friday night (Saturday morning). Then it was up at 9am to go to King Richard's Faire, where I managed to blow $150 on nonsense like a viking helmet, a wench's dress (which I wore) and a sword. My friends say they'll never go back there with me. They were extremely embarassed! I had a blast!

Then I played poker last night until 2am and lost $40. I didn't get to sleep until 5am because I stay up when I'm on-call so my sleep schedule is jacked. And here I am at work today: tired.

And broke.

Well I only have Alternative 4 and Eternity, bith of which are great, and I know I'll like the very small amount of D00m that they play, but I'm slighlty concenred about the more recent albums as I haven't heard any in their entirity.
