just finished "big trouble", it was nice. a fast, funny and light book, worth the little time it takes to read, imo.

now i'll start on a collection of Edgar Allan Poe stories my cousin lent me.

Alchymist – Ian Irvine

Yes, I’m a closet fantasy reader. This Well Of Echoes Series is pretty good so far, although the plot could use a bit of oomph.

And The Wastelands has finaly arrived, so I'll get some reading done this weekend...

Whit by Iain Banks. Typical Banks - good bits mixed with tedium and a constant, irritating half-sarcastic narrative tone.

Finished the Rum Diary (Hunter S Thompson is tied with the harry potter chick for easiest writer to read), tried to start reading some book on India, but the writer's style pissed me off... so now I don't have a book to read

Hence sarcasm. Only King could make anything that ridiculous slightly workable.

so i brought it back home, i've started it already and it doesn't seem half-bad.

Read Animal Farm, 'twas good. The appendix on censorship was even better. Now I shall move on to the copy of The English Patient I bought from a homeless guy for 10$

Nice, it took me about 5... the faux-children's book writing style kind of got to me in a few places.

The Shadow Rising, Robert Jordan. 4th book of the Wheel of Time. Damn good series...at least I think so. Rereading 1-9 so I can read 10 and 11, as I finished nine over a year and a half ago...need to refresh my memory.
