Man this weekend I movied it up. I don't know if you got the OCN and ON Movie channel when you were in Korea Ken but they both rule.

I saw Kingdom of Heaven, Lords of Dog Town, Friday Night LIghts, Police Story 4 (Jackie Chan), and a few others.

We had no cable in Korea. My day consisted of work, dinner, getting drunk or playing a show with Run DMZ while getting drunk, having sex with my lady friend, a few hours of sleep, repeat. No cable. No movies. Just about 325 of the same thing. It hurt.

I thought you were in the Air Force? What the fuck could you possible do for work?

I was in the Air Force! I was a network admin. I worked 6am-6pm at least 6 days a week. We called it the "666 Shift."

My sister went to the premiere of that film......incase you were interested

Oh yeah? How'd she manage that?

she works for P&G, they make loads of shit like pringles, fairy, bounty, gillette ect. They own Max Factor to, and Max Factor had a contract with that film to supply the make up, so when the premiere came the company got free tickets, my sister was lucky enough to get one.

That's cool. I was in the movie Blown Away. :)

Oh do tell!

Just as an extra, way off in the distance. But I got $50 and a free VHS copy of the movie when it came out. :)

I just watched this last night. Great movie. The best adaptation I've seen. What's up with Keira Knightley when she smiles? She looks downright evil! Like and evil little pixie or something. Anyway, excellent movie.

Gay jokes will get you banned.

I really liked this movie too, more than I would have ever imagined.
I suppose the acting skills displayed in the movie are for something.
+ Looking at Kiera Knightly for almost 2 hours is never a bad thing, no ?

Some of the best movies out there are "chick movies." And yeah, Keira is a cutey.

Ladder 49 – Naff. Naffer than Naffy at a Naffness Competition. I hate John Travolta.

Firewall – Rio gets beaten up by an ancient Harrison Ford. Bitch, please.

Saving Private Ryan - I've watched this for about a hundred times but it still is a damn good movie. I never get bored watching it but then again I am a war-loving person. Not in real life but in movies of course :P

Silence Of The Lambs – Meh. Anthony Hopkins is the only good thing about it, and he plays the character well, but as ever, if you’ve read the book you’ll be disappointed. It's so, so much better. Chilton and Barney aren’t creepy enough in the film, Starling isn't tough enough, that scene with Bill dancing around to 80's synth pop that just DOES NOT WORK – could and should have been much better. Read the damn book(s).

Pride and Prejudice was a cool film but the BBC adaptation with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle is the best screen adaptation by far I've seen of Austen.

My brother in law downloaded SCARY MOVIE 4 from a torrent site, put it into a DVD-R and gave it to me. It's not even worth the blank DVDr. I just kept watching until the end just for morbid curiosity on HOW MUCH MORE can it suck.

LA Confidential - Kinda cool, although I didn't really care enough about the characters to find all of the plot twisting really gripping... it also had a lot of lame cliche stuff. Kelsey kept falling asleep during it because she worked for like 10 hours today and wanted me to wake her up when she did but I felt weird waking her up every like 5 minutes and dint really know what to do >_<

The film that launched Russel Crowes career if im not mistaken. I saw it about forever ago at (the now shut down) drive in. It was pretty cool, though i was a little too young to dig it fully.

And yeah i love your blog-esque posts

Also its not a movie but a tv show, but i recently got the 1st season of American Dad. Funny, funny stuff. Blows Seth Mcfarlanes other series, that piece of shit simpsons rip-off known as family guy out of the water.

Oh yeah i went there..... and Roger is one of the best tv characters ever. :omfg: *searches for avatar pic*

On 24 Season 3… We need a Michelle vs. Nina vs. Chloe poll. And they finally got a Brit in! Plus, I’ve decided I quite like Sherry Palmer. Who else would shout at an old man in a wheelchair until he has a heart attack, and then watch him die? She’s up there in the awesomeness stakes with Jack. The Palmers definitely have the best storyline so far, although Chase’s baby is quite a nice twist...

Wow there, Captain Spolier!

And that baby subplot absolutely sucks! The scary part is they somehow came up with a worse one for Season 4 (the worst season). Mentally ill daughter, anyone?
