C.R.A.Z.Y. - A beautiful Quebec drama movie. I watched it withuot subtitles (because couldn't find batteries for my dvd remote) and since they were speaking in slang mostly i only understood some parts of it, but I still could tell what was going on. Probably the best drama movie I've seen since Requiem for a Dream.

Didn't they dub that movie for english canada ?
I saw that movie last year and liked it very much, though I did find it sort of long. The acting is superb, everyone should give this movie a try, a very solid drama.

Not the one I saw, I'm glad because I can't take dubbing seriously. It did seem a bit long at parts, but I still wished it was longer when it ended :\

Stay Alive- 4/10

Pretty much a waste of time. I like the concept, I enjoyed some parts in the first half of the movie (When they were all in the game solving the puzzles it reminded me of going through RE2 and Silent Hill back in the day). The second half of the movie was total shit and felt like it was all thought up at a table in 5 minutes while eating chinese food. The movie could have been cool if the whole thing was them playing the game in a LAN setting solving the mystery, at least it would have been better than an evil ghost coming back after 100 years to haunt a video game which creates mixed realities whenever it feels like it so that if your winning at the game it can kill you so you dont win.. Complete shit, dont watch.

Monster House - 8/10

Good movie to watch with the little shits. More mature and enjoyable than most CG Kiddy movies.

The Fountain - pretty much everything I expected it to be. stunning sound and visuals, emotionally powerful and extremely deep. I think Requiem for a Dream was better, but it also made me want to kill myself.

Really want to say the fountain. I still think RFAD is the most depressing piece of cinema in human history. Angela's Ashes is pretty bad but still can't touch it for sheer depression. Brilliant movie though.

So is The Fountain depressive ? Or kind of simillar to RFAD ? I didn't like RFAD because it was so depressive and I'd like to know before I watch this one.

Crash

Awesome movie.

(Not the J.G. Ballard Crash, mind you.)

Casino Royale. The best Bond in many, many years.

Crash was indeed excellent.

I saw Casino Royale yesterday. I thought it was the best Bond ever--not saying much since I don't like the other ones at all, but this movie was actually very good.
