It sucks! This makes Die Another Day and The World Is Not Enough look like Goldfinger by comparison. 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

So, what's the verdict on the latest Bond movie? Especially after 2002's admittedly dismal Die Another Day.

Admittedly dismal? More like one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I saw Casino Royale. It was a good movie; nothing too special, or that approaches some of the Connery classics. Still, its definitely a step in the right direction, and managed to keep me entertained for a good 2 hours (which is more than most action movies can say for me; I'm glad they realized that non-action scenes can be interesting too). Craig is a good Bond.

So, I would choose the "Its pretty good option", except that would imply that I miss Brosnan, which is a statement I would never care to make. So I took the "its great, best Bond film in a while" as while I don't think its great, its certainly the best Bond film since the Moore area (though I liked both of Dalton's a lot).

I thought it was pretty good, but also the best Bond movie ever--I don't like any of the other ones, even the Sean Connery ones.

what? most of the Brosnan bonds were so-so, but Goldeneye was great.

Bond movies suck with a passion, but Casino Royale was pretty good.

I voted "Best Bond movie in a long time". GoldenEye is the only Brosnan-era Bond that's even close.

Easily the best Bond film in a long time. Brosnan only had one outing this good (Goldeneye). Also, Craig is a great Bond. He gives off that sinister, yet cool vibe Connery was so good at, as opposed to the gentlemanly overkill of Roger Moore. It's also probably doesn't hurt that this movie is an adaptation of an actual Ian Fleming novel.

I just saw this yesterday. It's pretty good for a Bond movie, I liked the blunt and brutal style at some points. But it's so fucking long, I thought it was ending like 4 times but it just went on.
In any case, the Bond series' future got much more interesting.

I was quite skeptical to watch this movie because of the reviews the local papers gave. There was even a blunt remark by a writer who described Daniel Craig as 'not the Best looking Bond' and 'stiff acting'. But anyhow, I caught this movie last week with my brother.

I must say, I was very impressed. Well Daniel Craig is a good actor, but I found it difficult to fathom him as Bond. Simply because he is actually quite a broad person, very built. I have always imagined bond as a lanky guy who gets laid more often than shoots. But Daniel's acting is brilliant IMO. And to say this is one of the best Bond flicks in a long time.....HELL YEAH!!!

And what pissed me off about the movie is, it was GODDAMN long!! I thaught it ended only to see it's till goin on for ages. Goddamnit my bladder nearly exploded waiting for the end.

9/10
