Got a 360 last night, games I got for it are:
Gears of War
NHL 07
Tom Clancy's Advance Warfighter (I don't know the exact title of this game, seeing as how I have yet to play it)
and some demo disc that came with the system

i played the 2 SVR games before 2007 and as much fun as they were, they still had one HUGE problem - THE LOADING TIMES! there were loading screens that led into other loading screens![/i]

That is true, and 2007 is no exception.

   Me and my pals spend lots of time playing css at the local computer corner, and are often pissed to find that all the pcs are occupied by nerds playing wow. Also, when they cleared the shelves of cs, css and cz (one of which I wnated to buy) to make way for the wow expansion I was mad as hell. But it's still hilarious seeing these giys walk in and demand the game like junkies.

Final Fantasy XII, so far this could be the best final since VII, the new fighting system is great, the only downpoint i see is the story, but still this game kicks ass.

I've been wanting to try Oblivion; the only thing thats making me stop is that I really don't like the concept of first person swordery (especially without a wiimote type thing). Can you change the camera angle to third person?

Yes you can but it's not really helpful. I don't think there are people who play Oblivion from 3rd person perspective. I had the same worries like you, I hated 1st person games because they made me feel dizzy. Oblivion is a bit different because of the slower pace compared to most first person shooters. Plus you can manipulate and interact with the world around you so the first person perspective has more meaning and gives a better feeling. But it's all a matter of taste, if you can play it for a while at a friend's place or maybe ask for a try-out in a games shop. The starting dungeon is a great place to get familiar with the game and the controls so do that first.

In any case, Oblivion has been and still is a landmark for modern RPGs and almost a year later is still unsurpassed. If you like open-ended RPGs, I'm sure you're going to like this one.

They are a bitch, however there is a hidden joy to SVR.

Really offensive create-a-wrestlers that you can then take online and then sit back and hear the comments over Xbox live as you whip the ass of some wrestling nerd controlling their idol.

My personal fave? A submission win over John Cena with Adolf Hitler preceded by many over the knee spankings (an actual move in the game)

I'm already going to hell, I may as well enjoy my time here until then.

I just beat the new Zelda yesterday. It has one of the best and most satisfying endings out of any game I have played. Great game.
