He without doubt the best player (ever??) at dead balls. I think in the whole 10 mins he only scores about 5 from inside the box! And some of the passes he does!!! :omfg:

yeah, he is brilliant at dead balls, and great at passing/crossing. but lacking in just about every other category.

Certainly he is/was an overrated player, but at what he did best there was no one near him.

There was all the talk when he was in his mid-twenties that he would eventually develop into a central midfield player and be able to completely boss games in the middle of the park, but his other abilites never came along enough for that to happen.

Well now that's he's in LA soccer will get popular in the states and we'll have a bunch of giant black soccer stars stealing the world cup. dammit.

Well that's the idea. Whether or not it works is another matter, but I don't think it will.

A question: if America was to becaome interested in football and develop lots of good players and win the World Cup, why would this be stealing?

I don't want Beckham over here, and I don't want Football becoming any more popular here than it is. I like Football, but only during the World Cup.(Love rooting against America) We have our own sports and we should stick to them.
