Well, what do you expect with Palermese? They're so used to getting their own way, and using violence to do it...

I just watched some of that American Soccerball thingy. Fuck me that is one boring sport, it would be alright if they didn't stop and and have a chat every time they threw it. They should just stop fucking around and get on with it.

Portugal played Brazil last night at Ashburton Grove (i'll be damned if i'm calling it by the sponsor name) and won 2-0! the game was pretty entertaining, lots of dribbling as you'd expect. Cristiano Ronaldo put on an excellent show, he's definitely player of the year material, if not this year then surely the next.

and, obviously, one of the goals came from a Benfica player (Simão Sabrosa) :)

EDIT - thanks stuart/Radagast

Its called Ashburton Grove btw.

England spain tonight. seeing all the players leave and come into the squad i cannot believe David James is not in it. He's been the best keeper in the Prem all season, a very strange decision in my eyes, but perfectly sane compaired to the theo wallcot thing

That was a very good game! Both teams played great and created a lot of chances.

...Which is more than I can say about the match I just saw. Sweden got totally wtfpwned by Egypt

Sweden always get owned in friendlies. And it's not that strange at the moment, seems to be quite a fuss and turbulence around our national team at the moment. But as long as they keep going strong in the qualification games I'm happy. :)
