Well...for starters, I think your dead on with the review. They have a lot of potential, and when the first song started I was like, man that's gonna be NICE... but after listening to all their songs there is this chaotic feature that is ..somehow... not right. I like bands that keep their powermetal complicated (the last 2 Wuthering Heights come to mind), but here the vocals are disjointed from the rest..honestly I think their problem is their vocalist choice... they would need someone with more dynamics, or they should change their music style a bit to fit the "Falconer" mould (like the vocals).
They sound like Wintersun (using the epic vocals), but getting it wrong in the rhytmic department .
Anyways they are far better than the "generic" powermetal stuff that floats around, and maybe if they sort their stuff out, they will suceed in creating something good and original.

Excelent review (again) and promising band.

My score: 60 (I've seen a lot of duds scoring higher :) )

Hey dreaming, looks like you had the same dilemma I had - is it the Vocalist that needs a rocket up his ass, or the drummer that needs reined in??? What did you think of the bits that did come together - mainly the instrumental parts; I thought they were pretty kick ass. I'm with you on the "Sort their stuff out". If they do that then I'd be at the head of the queue for their first release. Personally, and I've seen it many times before, they're surrounded by friends and relatives who don't tell them the truth when the band ask them what they think, just not got the heart to say "Well, that was OK, this was good but WTF were you thinking of with.....!"
