Unreal Tournament online, from time to time. Still my favorite online game. That one should be filed under "always gaming" though, not just "now gaming". :D

I think it is very good. But I am a sucker for RTS, but seeing as how I havn't played too many lately I can't be that good of a judge. But I can say, if you liked AOE2 you will like AOE3.

Hell, ima go play now. :dio:

i thought that it didn't add enough new content, just retooled the old formula and made it look shiny.

so i say, if you like AOE2 you you will like it becasue it is the same. Im not sure its worth the money though.

currently i am playing KOTR:2 for the 50th time.

AOE3 is good, I would get it. KOTOR:2 I have been meaning to play seeing as how I beat KOTOR. Should I buy KOTOR:2?

i would recomend it. the story is better and the control system got enhanced so it works smoother now. Also you can do alot in the lines of influenceing the other characters to change sides which can be lots of fun.

if you like kotr than the second is almost a must have, especialy when you can get it used for x-box for 10 dollars

I have been looking for it, but since cash is tight now, im having a hard time getting a hold of a cheep copy. But I will definitely be getting it. I will also be getting Mass Effect when it comes out, that looks awesome. And if you don't know, it's made by the same people. BioWare.

Wtf Doom 3 is so straightforward it's not even funny. It's like they took doom 1 and developed godlike graphics but didn't give a shit about renewing the gameplay or anything.
Doom 3 graphics= ahead of their time
Doom 3 gameplay=1992

And one more thing... Where are the huge hordes of monsters coming at you? The most you go against are like packs of 4-5..
Overall a disappointment..

Still playing Final Fantasy XII. I just can't get enough of this game. Now I'm on my second playthrough and this time I'll be using a guide to see if I missed something on my first playthrough (ap. 150h :D). And I was surprised to see that I missed almost everything good on the first playthrough.

This is one of those few games that I just can't stop playing. And I won't be stopping any time soon.

I just finished FFXII yesterday, 105h I think. I killed most of the marks, then got tired when I got to King Behemoth and Pylraster. Anyway, I think it's a great game, one of the best FF's.

I loved the battle-system, I thought it'd be simpler than regular FF-style battles but the boss fights were really hard and tactical. Oh, and I love the fact that there are no random encounters, man I hate when I want to get somewhere real fast but those random encounters keep popping up, FFXII remedies all that.

SPOILERS!!!!

The story was great in my opinion, atleast most of it. It started out really cool, the fall of Dalmasca, Basch's "betrayal" and the murder of the king, the "death" of the princess, and so on. Somehow it felt more realistic than any other FF's, there weren't any gods or whatever involved, until later in the game when the story went downwards, fast.

Anyway, playing Kingdom Hearts II now. Good stuff, 30h into the game.

Im still on my first playthrough near the end of the game and IMO this is the best FF since VII, the battle system kicks some major ass, it never gets dull or boring but...

*****SPOILERS******(Maybe)
I dont get the purpose of Vaan and Penelo in the story, i just dont get why the main character has nothing to do with the plot, why the fuck does he and penelo hang around with the other characters? they had no motivation in doing so, theyre just there, it kinda pisses me off that one of the best FF has the worst main character ever, in fact i found myself most of the time not using them in battle (unless im leveling up).
On the other hand the other characters are nothing but great IMO, Basch and Balthier could have been amazing main characters, the whole story revolves around Ashe so she could have been a cool female lead (not like that doormat Yuna), and Fran just serves the purpose of being from a different race but i like her anyways.

I completely agree with you, I like Basch and his brother too, awesome characters, and Balthier, easily one of the best characters in an FF game.

I hated Vaan, he had absolutely nothing to do with anything, I started using Ashe as party leader the instant I got her, and ended up using only Ashe, Basch and Balthier. Vaan was the typical do-the-right-thing-main character, while Ashe actually wandered a bit on the "dark side", personally I think they should make more characters like that, it gives them a more genuine human feel if they don't just go around doing the "right thing" all the time.

Oh, Vaan's brother Reks was a way better character, I wish I'd seen a bit more of him.

X can be a real bitch if you don't know how to properly use the sphere grid.

Legacy of Kain Defiance. Disappointing gameplay (only compared to the first 2 Legacy of Kain games though), with an amazing storyline. These games could make a killer movie series.

I think the game was really good, in terms of story and character developement the game was brilliant, the gameplay its almost identical to previous installments the only improvement is that now you can switch characters and weapons in battle, and the sphere grid wasnt that hard to understand (although erasing and replacing spheres for maximum level was a pain in the ass), the graphics like in any FF are nothing but great and the music was enjoyable (although IMO the best music for an ending has to be the one from VIII, i swear i almost cried:mellow:), i just found three major flaws in the game:

1) It was too damn easy.
2) The voice acting was one of the worst things ive ever heard, especially tidus, what a fucking deuche bag.
3) Getting tidus to upgrade his ultimate weapon its so fucking frustrating its not even funny.

I think that the FF series definitely needs to get back to the job system or at least came up with characters with different abilities and stats each, like you get one to be a mage (predetermined or by choice) one to be a warrior one to be a healer, etc. Otherwise i dont really see the point of having six or more different characters, given that you can only use three at the same time and theyre all just practically the same.

Is this game part of the Soul Reaver series?,In wich console are you playing it? its there a PC version of it?

I think the first Soul Reaver was fucking amazing but the ending was really disappointing, i liked the second game but they really fucked it up with its lack of boss fights.

And i agree about the storyline, its one of the best aspects of the game.
