I just saw "Primer" yesterday, and i fucking loved it, but id have to admit that i had to watch it twice to understand what the fuck happened  , this was definitely one of the best sci-fi movies ive ever watched, i love watching a movie with absolutely no expectations and being totally surprised by it.

The Squid And The Whale

Kinda depressing, but a really good movie anyhow. My parents didn't really like it. They're phillistines.

13 Tzareti - This movie would be a lot better if you went into it not knowing what it was about. Sadly the back of the movie box makes the first 30 minutes kind of pointless, and for the rest of the movie the director relied too much on the concept (which was really cool) to carry the movie. 6/10

Woody Allen rules. Jack Black is a better actor than comedian (King Kong?).

The Departed - Pretty good.

Well King Kong was pretty terrible overall, but he did surprise me somewhat with his acting skillzors.

i saw school of rock and some other movie i can't remember, he didn't do anything especially lol-inducing... maybe i just saw the wrong movies?

Damn, just as I feared. They totally raped the spirit of vengeance then?

...what?

Is that his power where he's all like "Look into my eyes" and then he turns all the bad things they've done on them? If it is, then yeah, that came off as totally retarded and cheesy.

umm... noh... Ghost Rider is the spirit of vengeance. And that thing you said is his penance stare..or sumthing like that. I more like meant that they ruined another good charachter by making it into a crappy movie.

Oh...well, yeah--they did then :P. I've heard a few people say they liked it, but for the most part it's pretty much craptastic.

I don't know if I have said this yet, but I saw Smokin' Aces about a week and a half ago. It's a great moive, I loved it. Usually movies with lots of big names suck, but this one was good. And the big names aren't that big but they are A List actors. Ben Affleck, Ray Liotta, some guy who does a voice on The Simpsons, there is one other guy who is pretty big but his name has lost me. He was in Van Wilder, Waiting.... I remember as I am typing. Ryan Renolds. So yeah I am done rambling, it's a good movie about mobsters and FBI and assassins.

Braveheart is awesome, but it seems to me that Mel Gibson is just putting in all the "in the name of christ we fight for our freedoms" etc only because he's a religious fanatic and not in any way interested in historical accuracy. "England was ruled by Edward the Longshanks, a cruel pagan king". Cruel pagan? Yeah, thanks.

Back then, every fucker was cruel. Making distinctions between pagan and christian in terms of a film is rather silly. And defending Mel Gibson is not the corner I'd choose....

The Best Man - Meh. Kate Ashfield was nullified by that annoying American prat doing an English accent badly.

That's what I'm saying. Take it for what it is.

Btw, Braveheart owns, I was Rollin' da eyez at his "Too bad they're christian..."

Just saw The Illusionist, oh man... what a bad movie that was. The acting was horrible, the story was predictable beyond belief, the ending sucked ball sack, but it still kept me entertained. 5/10.

I was agreeing with you. Not saying Christians are perfect, but you don't prove their cruelty from a film, Fridgey!

And The Illusionist was bad, says you? This doesn't bode well, I was rather looking forwards to it...
